Chef of the year and more fantastic results for the InterContinental Malta Kitchen Brigade
InterContinental Malta is proud to announce the outstanding performance of its chefs at the recent Malta Kulinarija 2018.
InterContinental Malta’s team of chefs led by Executive Chef Roger Friggieri, won a medal in each entry, they participated. A very prestigious award won this year is the ‘Chef of the Year’, won by our Executive Sous Chef Brady Dalli, who next year will be competing in the Global Chef Challenge.
The Malta Kulinarja, Cookery and Culinary Arts Championships, organised by the Malta Chef Society, was held between 22nd and 25th February 2018 at MFCC. This culinary arts competition is attended by trainees, kitchen artists and chefs from Malta’s top restaurants and hotels. The evaluation process includes flavour, presentation, composition, technical skills and other measurable benchmarks.

I had no doubt that our chefs were going to do a brilliant job, as on a daily basis, I have the pleasure to see the extraordinary quality of cuisine that they offer our guests, and that we are able to display and present it in such a spectacular manner.”
